What is Hastelloy C276 Foil?

Hastelloy C276 Foil is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of corrosive media. It has outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900°F (1037°C). Due to its resistance to corrosion and extreme temperatures, Hastelloy C276 Foils are trusted by many of these industries when quality assurance is a must. The high amount of chromium gives it superior oxidation resistance and protection from chloride ion stress-corrosion cracking. It also has excellent ductility, making it easier to fabricate into complex shapes compared to other corrosion-resistant alloys.
